Zhejiang Everbright International Travel Co. Ltd formally was a state-owned company under China Everbright Group. In 2002, it was transformed into a limited company. It was awarded the right for outbound tours in 2005 and for Taiwan tours in 2009. And now it is one of the travel agencies in Zhejiang Province with the most comprehensive business qualifications. The company up to now employs 196 staff with 7 outlets in Hangzhou, 6 sub companies in Zhejiang province and holds the majority share in Zhejiang Everbright Star International Travel Co. Ltd and Zhejiang Everbright Sunshine International Travel Co. Ltd. At present, it is the deputy director of Zhejiang Province Travel Agency Association and Hangzhou Travel Agency Association and one of the 100 Best National Travel Agencies.
In 2010, the company’s business revenue reached 616 million Yuan with about 112000 passengers travelled abroad and to Taiwan, operated about 97000 tourists from abroad, and about 351059 domestic travelers. Its business volume and comprehensive economic index rank the first 3 in the province, while its outbound travel volume stands the first among all the travel agencies in the province.
